For years you’ve heard Leif Hansen talk about how Leif’s
fights for the interests of consumers against the insurance companies. Viki has been with Leif’s almost from the beginning of the company, and
she’s the front line in the fight to get every customer the full amount of
their claim.

As a former employee of  a major insurance company, Viki has seen first hand how
insurance companies often did not pay claims correctly, sometimes taking
advantage of consumers who did not understand what their rights were. “I found
Leif’s mission to protect consumer rights very noble, and worth my dedication. I
work on behalf of the customer to make sure their bill is paid in full prior to
coming to pick up their vehicle,” she says.  You can be assured that from repairs to rentals, Viki is
working hard every day to get your claim covered.

Outside of work, Viki relaxes with quiet and restorative
activities. “I like to sew, garden, and with the help of my husband, take our
two great danes Ayla and Murphy for walks. We love riding our cruiser bikes
around Portland, especially at the waterfront. And we spend as much time as
possible at the beach.”

Barbecue is also a passion for Viki. “There’s nothing like a
summer night outside with friends and family, cooking a meal on the barbecue.
And there’s nothing shabby about the Portland beer movement either!” she says.

Viki and her husband have three grown children, scattered
across the country and all doing well. She’ll talk about her kids for hours, and
will tell you that the best days are when they come home to visit. “Now that
they are all grown it’s even more fun to spend time with them,” she says. “They
always make me smile.”

On the automotive side, Viki has a passion for vintage
Volkswagens. “Growing up in Hawaii, I love the island feel of life. The
surf-mobile to me is the old Volkswagen van with all the windows and curtains.
If I had all the money in the world, that’s the vintage car I would have. What
could be cooler than that?” she says.
