Leif’s Employee Profile: Greg L.

When you bring your car to Leif’s for collision repair,
you’re likely to meet Greg. As Leif’s Senior Customer Claims Specialist,
Greg handles  a large percentage of the incoming repairs, and he’s
legendary within the company for the glowing thank-you letters we receive from
his customers.

Greg has been with Leif’s since 2007, helping customers navigate the unfamiliar
process of estimates, adjustments, insurance claims, and repairs. “I make
it easy for customers. I let them know that we take care of everything. I set
up rental cars, work with insurance, and answer their questions,” he says.

Greg enjoys the variety of his work, but it’s the personal aspect that really
gets him going each day, “The best part of my job is that I get to help
people who have no experience with collisions. I get to make them feel that
someone’s on their side.”

Give Greg a choice of where to eat lunch and he’ll take you to the Hot Cake House on Powell Blvd. Once you’re there, Greg will be ordering a
cheeseburger and a milkshake. “I love that place,” he says.

Outside of work, Greg will tell you that he’s a car guy, through and through.
“I got my first car at age 14 and I’ve never looked back. It was a
Volkswagen Super Beetle,” he says. Greg’s current project is a Chevy S10
Blazer, modified with a V8 engine and 5-speed transmission borrowed from a Z28
Camaro. Greg is also a Mercedes-Benz Enthusiast.

But Greg is also a dedicated family man – he’s married to Joie and they have a
12 year old son named Dalton. “We enjoy bike
riding together, especially down on the waterfront. Dalton’s my protege – he’s
into cars just like me. He’s been changing tires since he was 5!”

Stop in to Leif’s Tigard location and if Greg’s
not out front, just walk into the lobby – he’ll be along in a moment, ready to
help.

How Are We Doing?

Claims Advocacy

Large insurance corporations have all the power. As consumers, we can’t stop the insurance abuses without bringing our voices together, and using the power of the media, government and the courts to stop it
