Integrating Technology With Your Car

Drivers tend to have a love-hate relationship with modern technology in our cars. Most often, we love our technology but we hate it when others are wandering over the road while they use theirs.

The challenge before automakers is to integrate the current technology into  their cars while not allowing the driver to become distracted. This is a tough proposition because people get distracted easily – before texting and cell phones, it was tuning the radio or adjusting the air conditioning, to say nothing of distractions provided by passengers!

But it’s not just automakers looking to better-integrate technology in your next car – the cell phone makers and even online sites such as Facebook are working to make their sites more driver-friendly.

Our position is that safety must always be the primary concern of a driver, and therefore we like to let the passenger answer the phone.
