Subject vehicle was inspected and the following was found:

Right frame structure was not repaired.

Vehicle suspension had been removed and because structure was not brought back to manufacturers specifications, the mechanic that re-installed the suspension after the repair had to force the bolts into the holes, cross threading the mounting point holes and rendering the entire front structure compromised and requiring extensive repairs. No scans were performed during the initial repair by the previous shop.

Total cost of re-repair to correct these issues would have been over $10,000. The Insurance company opted to total the vehicle when the customer was made aware of the earlier failure to properly repair the vehicle.
