Subaru Damage Ignored By Insurance Shop

Conclusion: This Subaru was in a low speed rear end collision which caused minor buckles in it’s body, visible in the taillight housings photographed below. Rather than properly repair the damage but pulling the body back, the shop elected to ignore the buckles and install new trim and taillights over the damage. The customer noted the poor fit of the trim pieces and requested the vehicle be inspected. Complete and thorough analysis found a lot of hidden damage. The body shop also failed to blend the paint into the front door, causing a noticeable color difference between the front and rear door on the driver’s side.
