Rear camera, second TV mounted on 1968 Volkswagen microbus

A couple brief updates to the 1968 Volkswagen microbus; for those of you who haven’t been following, the project is Leif’s ambitious customs undertaking that will turn the classic vehicle into a state-of-the-art beauty with solar power and lithium-ion batteries.

Robert, who has been working on the project for months now, installed the second TV in the rear of the bus (a first TV was installed here), which was accompanied by a camera that will allow the driver to see out the rear of the vehicle – there is no rear-view mirror, after all.

As with the rest of the project, everything is custom and the latest updates have all been hand-formed by Robert.

The engine should be on site in a couple of weeks, but as was reported last week, there are many small details to be sorted out as the project hums along.
