Snowy, wintry weather finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest this week, wreaking havoc on commuters and taking a toll on vehicles. Early Tuesday morning on Highway 26 east of Sandy a box truck lost control on a snow-covered road, colliding with a center cable barrier, Oregon State Police said. Police and fire were on scene to remove the vehicle and make temporary repairs to the cable barrier. The driver of the truck, a Federal Express vehicle, was not injured, the cable box and poles sustained extensive damage. After something like this, it’s vital to get your car into Leif’s for the highest-quality repairs, and to prevent your car from wear-and-tear, make sure you visit our service department which has ASE-trained personnel ready to winterize your vehicle.
